I don’t remember a lot about my childhood but I do remember a couple special moments.
One of these moments was when I came home from school, one valentines day, and my mom gave me an Annie mug filled with my favorite candy. That simple gift holds a special place in my heart to this day!
Let’s not forget the kids on Valentines Day!
Here are a couple ideas:
Favorite Charector Mug filled with candy –
I of course had to have this on the list. A simple gift that means a lot.
Personalized M&M – these are so cool I want them!
Personalized Conversation hearts T-shirt – this shirt is adorable.
Personalized Puzzle – the kids will have fun playing with this and how cool to have name on it!
Tinker Bell Ring – I would have loved to have had this ring when I was younger. So pretty and age appropriate jewlery for a youngster.
Scented Nail Polish – what little girl doesn’t like to have her nails painted! Now she can have her nails all prettied up without the awful polish smell!
What gift do you plan to get the kid in your life?

I so wish I was one of those super organized individuals.
You know the people that think getting all of their stuff organized is fun and can’t understand why everyone in the world doesn’t feel this way.
I’m actually at the opposite end of the spectrum of an organized person. Everything from my home to my bag is a disorganized mess.
Now, I’m never going to be one of those people that stay in on a Saturday night to organize stuff but I would like to have a little bit of structure in my life.
This, let’s call it, “Tracey Gets Organized” project will not be done in a couple weeks or even a couple months. This project will take me at least a years worth of time if not more.
I wish I could get this goal done by tomorrow but that’s just not going to happen. What can I say – I work full time, I’m a wife, friend and animal owner. Organizing comes after a list of other more important things in my life.
I will make sure to keep everyone updated on my progress. Should be interesting 😉
*Check back for my first organizing post in regards to my work bag.
After spending lots of money during the holidays its sometimes difficult to find the funds for a nice Valentines gift for that certain special someone in your life.
I’ve been looking for different valentines gifts (that wouldn’t break the bank) and came across these cute mugs:
Aren’t they fun!
You can find them at a Caribou near you or online!
p.s. Check back later for more gifting ideas.
And by Hunter, I obviously mean the boots.
Hunter boots have been something I’ve wanted for a couple years. I put off buying them because the cost and the thought that I wouldn’t get much use out of them.
Well, I finally bit the bullet a couple months ago and bought a pair of black boots. Needless to say I am extremely happy with my purchase.
I live in a large city where I walk pretty much everywhere. In the summer months I can pretty much wear any shoe I want, but in the winter and spring my precious feet need to be protected. That is where these boots come in handy.
I’ve worn them in the rain, sleet and snow and my feet have stayed completely dry and my pretty work shoes didn’t get ruined because they were stashed neatly in my bag!
The last couple days have been incredibly wet and I can’t tell you how happy I was to own these wonderful Hunter rain boots!
If you’ve been on the fence about getting these boots than it’s time to jump off. Hurry up and go get yourself a pair – you can thank me later 😉
