The Oscar’s are coming up this weekend and like many people I will be glued to the television. I don’t really care who wins the awards but I’m interested in what the celebrities will be wearing and all the celebrity gossip!
I must admit that I also am interested in seeing which celebrities can actually deliver a decent thank you speech. Most the time they seem to deliver pretty much the same speech but once in awhile you will get a speech that is spoken from the heart and really conveys a message of gratitude.
I often wonder what I would say if I were to receive an award like and Oscar.
I would like to think I would speak from the heart but I would most likely bring that little piece of paper reminding me of who I want to thank. I’m pretty sure that in the moment of winning a big award I would forget my own name needless to say all those that helped me along the way!
My thank you would go something like this:
I can’t believe I won this award and I have so many people to thank who helped me along the way. My parents and grandma for raising me to be a strong woman, my coach for teaching me that I can do anything with some hard work, my sisters for pushing me to do what I really wanted to do and providing me with unconditional love. And I would like to thank my husband for loving me and being by my side through the good and the bad, Love you very much – Thank you for everything!
What would you say in your thank you speech if you won a big award?
