Shaky Start

Let’s take a look at Mondays eats!

Breakfast

I decided to start my day off with one of my favorite quick breakfasts, vanilla Chobani yogurt topped with pumpkin pecan granola:

With a Starbucks Skinny Vanilla latte chaser:

This was a great combo. Kept me full for hours which is a good thing when trying to lose weight.

Lunch

I couldn’t think of a better lunch than my favorite place, Freshii! I had a soup with chicken broth, carrots, celery, corn, rice noodles with a shot of sriracha:

This soup was SO good! I have no idea why I never thought of adding sriracha to soups I make at home. My future soups will include it!

Dinner

I had planned to make an Indian dish for dinner but it did not turn out at all. It currently has a home in the bottom of my trash which isn’t a good thing because my house is going to stink. Very bad on my part 🙁

I had to find something else and fast because I was starving. Our kitchen is pretty bare but I did have tortillas and shredded cheese. So I made a couple melted cheese tortilla roll-ups:

I dipped them in some taco sauce. Simple and hit the spot!

Snacks

One of my new favorites, reduced white cheddar chez-its:

Yum, yum, yum! I just wish they were healthier.

Not all that bad for my first day actually paying attention to what I eat. It wasn’t perfect but it’s a heck of a lot better than what I normally would have eaten.

Calories: 1889

Those tortillas really jacked up my calories for the day. Need to pay more attention to the nutrtional information prior to putting it in my mouth 😉

Question

Have you ever had sriracha?

I just read your post about losing weight – don’t feel bad about using calories, it is an effective weight loss technique used by many!
I would suggest adding more protein into your meals…breakfast was ok with the greek yogurt, but you didn’t really have much at lunch or dinner… 🙂

First off – Thank you SO much for helping me with this! I need all the help I can get.

I have problems getting protein in my meals. I don’t like a lot of meats so I need to find other sources. It’s something I will be working on.

It’s funny you commented on the lack of veggies and protein because my dinner was supposed to have both. Unfortunately it turned out disgusting 🙁

        Thanks again!!!
