Happy Girl Menu

After Wednesday’s lack of breakfast followed by a poor decision at lunch time, I decided it was important to start my day off with some good for me stuff 🙂

Breakfast

Started off the day with one of my favorite work week breakfasts.  Vanilla Chobani yogurt topped with a pumpkin pecan granola.  Yum!

Lunch

I had a doctors appointment in the afternoon.  My doctor just so happens to be located next to a Whole Foods.  I totally took advantage and grabbed some lunch to bring back to the office.

I wet my whistle with a raspberry Steaz.  Steaz is a sparkling green tea and is a great alternative to Soda.  Fun fact, I do believe I once met an owner of this company on a plane along time ago.

I got a sample of the mac & cheese and some Indian spiced cabbage.  The mac & cheese was okay but the cabbage tasted really good.  I’m going to search online to see how I can make it at home.

The star of my lunch came from the WF salad bar.  It’s the best!

My salad included:

  • Romaine lettuce
  • Hard boiled eggs
  • Carrots
  • Cucumbers
  • Corn
  • Grilled pineapple
  • Red pepper
  • Parm cheese
  • Smidge of whole wheat pad thai

Topped with my favorite brand of salad dressing, Newman’s own!  I have liked every single one of the Newman’s dressings I’ve tried.  Today I chose to go with Light Italian.

Dinner

Dinner today was really good and simple to make.  A noodle bowl packed with veggies:

Dessert

After my day of good eats I needed a little treat.  Edy’s Thin Mint Slow Churned ice cream topped with Sanders Milk Chocolate Hot Fudge!

D-licious!

A big thanks to Edy’s for sending me a coupon to get the ice cream!  Although, I would have bought it without the coupon 🙂 Can’t go wrong with Edy’s Limited Edition Ice Creams!!!

Thursday was an excellent day of foods.  Everything was so good.  I could have this menu again and again and be a happy girl 😀

Question:

What is your favorite Girl Scout cookie?

Mine is the Samoas or Caramel deLites!  Can’t go wrong with those glorious bites of goodness!
